How To Marry A Millionaire Movie Poster Marilyn Monroe Lauren Bacall Vintage Movie Daybill | How to Marry a Millionaire (1953) was directed by Jean Negulesco and written and produced by Nunnally Johnson. The screenplay was based on the plays 'The Greeks Had a Word for It' by Zoë Akins and 'Loco' by Dale Eunson and Katherine Albert. The film stars Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe, and Lauren Bacall as three gold diggers, along with William Powell, David Wayne, Rory Calhoun, and Cameron Mitchell. Betty Grable received top billing in the screen credits but Marilyn Monroe’s name was first in all advertising, including the trailer. How to Marry a Millionaire was the first film ever to be photographed in the new Cinemascope wide-screen process, although it was the second Cinemascope film released by Fox after the biblical epic film The Robe (also 1953).

Folds and Creases: Folded twice as issued to cinemas. there are two additional light creases either side of the top and bottom issued ones.
Pin Holes: None
Tape Marks: There is a 5.5cm / 2 inch vertical tear located just below Monroe's hand that holds her leg and extends down to the shoe strap that wraps around her leg. None
Edge Wear / Stains: Very random light signs on bottom horizontal border and along bottom vertical right hand border. Once matted and framed this would not be noticed as the edge wear is so minor. - There is evidence of some light 'foxing' on the cream borders.
