Rare Photosheet Poster. Short Circuit is a science fiction film directed by John Badham, and written by S. S. Wilson and Brent Maddock. The film's plot centers upon an experimental military robot that is struck by lightning and gains a more human like intelligence, with which it embarks to explore its new state. Short Circuit stars Ally Sheedy, Steve Guttenberg, Fisher Stevens, Austin Pendleton, and G. W. Bailey, with Tim Blaney as the voice of the robot, Johnny Five.A sequel, Short Circuit 2, was released in 1988.

Note: On this poster, the issued horizontal fold that is usually at the bottom above the banner is located at the top half way across the top two images.There is very minor (tiny) paper seperation at the top and bottom cross folds. The artwork presents very nicely.

Comments: Must have for collectors of this cult classic.This is a rare poster format only made in Australia. Designed to be used by theatre owners in one of two ways. It could be displayed as is, or more often cut up to create six "lobby cards" and a small banner. These posters in some cases can be difficult to find as many WERE cut up and few uncut ones survive. They are now highly collectible.
