McVicar Poster Original Rare One Sheet 1980 Roger Daltrey

Rare Australian One Sheet size poster with striking artwork of Daltrey. McVicar is a British drama film released in 1980 by the Who Films, Ltd., starring Roger Daltrey of the Who in the title role of John McVicar. The film also starred Adam Faith and Bill Murray. Bill Curbishley and Roy Baird acted as producers, and the film received a nomination in 1981 for Best Picture at MystFest, the International Mystery Film Festival of Cattolica. The film's soundtrack, a Roger Daltrey solo album, was released as McVicar and featured contributions by the other three extant members of The Who, Pete Townshend, John Entwistle and Kenney Jones.

Comments: Highly collectible poster for fans of Roger Daltrey and The Who. The artwork presents quite nicely.

Poster Size: 27" x 40" or 69 x 102 cm approx
Folds and Creases: Folded As Issued. foldwear along the top horizontal fold near the crossfold and the centre vertical fold. the wear is in the form of small paper separation.
Pin Holes: None
Tape Marks: No tape marks on the front. Some very minor blu tac marks on the back on borders.
Edge Wear / Stains: No edgewear. At the bottom left quarter on the back of the poster is staining. This shows thru on the left hand vertical border as pictured. due to the dark artwork the rest of the staining does not show thru.Some small spot foxing marks appear at the bottom right corner on the back but do not show thru.
Notes: The linen backing process would address the imperfections mentioned or the buyer could have the poster matted and framed to hide the border stains.
