Daybill Poster.The Blue Veil is a 1951 American drama film directed by Curtis Bernhardt. The screenplay by Norman Corwin is based on a story by François Campaux, which was adapted for the French language film Le Voile Bleu in 1942. Jane Wyman stars in a cast that also includes Charles Laughton, Joan Blondell and Agnes Moorehead. Jane Wyman won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Drama and Joan Blondell was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Comments: This poster has full-bleed borders on the left and right and has NOT been trimmed. This was done by RKO with their Daybills in the 1940s and early 1950s. The stunning artwork presents very well and the linen backing process would restore any faults although it still presents well as is.

Folds and Creases: Folded twice as issued to cinemas.2 cm paper separation along the top horizontal issued fold on the far right.Some small fold wear along the bottom fold on the right.

Edge Wear / Stains: Edge wear at the top right hand vertical border only. Moisture exposure on the back of the poster on the left hand border and has come thru in the green / blue artwork just above the top issued fold.
