Packaged in black and white.Paradise Now is a documentary film,
suitable for senior secondary students, that deals with one of the most
contentious of contemporary issues – suicide bombers – and explores their
motivations, the logistics behind their missions and how their attacks are
coordinated and organised. Two young Palestinian childhood friends are recruited
to carry out a suicide bombing in Tel Aviv, record a farewell video and spend
the last night with their families. In Paradise Now, Khaled and Said have
to face their destiny, choices, dilemmas and convictions.
