Nominated for three Academy Awards, 12 Angry Men is a superbly acted and brilliantly written courtroom drama turned scathing social commentary. The film focuses on twelve jurors, responsible for convicting a young man for murder. All but one find the defendant guilty, but slowly, reconsider their verdict until a remarkable conclusion is reached. Notably, the film takes place almost entirely in one room.
